Fr. Joshua Nelson is a native of Southern Ohio. He was born in Portsmouth and attended High School in Circleville, where his parents, sister, and nephew still live. Fr. Joshua was a High School Music teacher prior to attending seminary at the Sewanee: The University of the South. After seminary, he served the community of St. David of Wales in Elkhart, Indiana until he joined us in ministry in February 2021. Fr. Be sure to check out Fr. Joshua on Story Time with Fr. Joshua, a weekly children’s story program following the lectionary of the church year, and The BCP and Me, a podcast he produces with Fr. Tyler Richards of Depere, Wisconsin, that seeks to introduce people to The Book of Common Prayer and how to use it as a manual for living a life connected to God and God’s people.
